Season for a Detox

I decided to start a detox program yesterday, November 1. That was a great day to get going; the first of a fresh month. I intend to journal my process through this blog. I did this a few years ago when I detoxed from caffeine and learned it was very helpful for others. So join me for my journey on this detox. In the new year, consider joining me for a detox of your own.

Anti-Aging Tip #8 – The Sugar Factor

Research done on diabetes has led to information about the effects of too much sugar on cells in the body that form glycation end products or (AGE’s). This process causes protein fibers to become stiff and malformed. To help cut back on your sugar consumption, eat more fruits and sweet vegetables to tame the sweet cravings. Read labels to minimize your intake of added sugars.

Anti-Aging Tip #3 – The Exercise Factor

Seasoned women who don’t get moving and exercise run the risk of accelerrating their aging experience. It is well known that staying active and exercising can increase flexibility needed to be able to keep doing everyday life chores. Exercise can extend longevity, and help keep your weight in line. It also helps to reduce stress and may even help to keep Alzheimer’s disease at bay.
