Go for the Gold
“Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads”. Erica Jong, author
It’s important to have confidence in order to continue with the persistence to keep being competitive in the business world until you reach your goals. The fact is, business is a competitive activity. You have to be good at what you do, offer unique products and services that provide benefits to others, and be confident enough to tell your target market that you are the best business for her or him to select.
Be competitive enough to keep promoting what you have to offer until you reach high levels of business success. That’s the best way to build your confidence and competence to succeed.
Remember, it’s not about you.
“Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.”
Harriet Beecher Stowe, writer
Being confident is important in business. But it’s easy to forget that being confident in what you do is not about you at all. As a woman with the desire to serve the world through your talent, you have a unique way to express your life purpose. You know that you were blessed with certain talents because you have a special place to fill in the world of business.
When you remember that business allows you to provide something of great need to the marketplace, the vision of your work becomes bigger than you. That’s when you know that being successful in reaching outstanding goals that obviously are not possible through your own doing means it’s really not about you alone. Make it obvious that your confidence is not in your own abilities but stem from your faith to pursue big goals. Do what it takes to learn more and be a better, more confident business woman each day.
